Have you ever thought about celebrating your wedding in another country?

You will transform your wedding from an event into an adventure!

I bet that while reading this, many European cities came to your mind.

You’re definitely wondering where is the best place to get married in Europe.

What is the best place to propose, and what about the best honeymoon destination?

Here you will find the top five of the most beautiful places to get married in Europe

  • Barcelona, Spain
  • Venice, Italy
  • Dubrovnik, Croatia
  • Beld, Slovenia
  • Lapland, Sweden

Barcelona

On the top of our list for the most beautiful places for the wedding in Europe is Barcelona in Spain.

For us is the city that has stolen our hearts.

Barcelona offers incredible attractions, history as Gaudí´s buildings like la Sagrada Familia, la casa Batlló, la casa Milla, Güell park… Other buildings like the cathedral… All the streets of the gothic or Born neighborhood offers incredible views, building with green plants, narrow streets with art in every single meter.

Live music is everywhere, we like to go to Barcelona and have a walk because the art finds you, you don’t need to look for it, believe us it’s everywhere.

Barcelona also offers one of the best gastronomies of the world, from traditional tapas to gourmet culinary creations.

Barcelona it’s an incredible romantic place to come and visit with your partner, It’s perfect for four young couples because of all the different plans of culture and night but it’s also an incredible destination for older couples.

Venice

On the second place is Venice in Italy.

We personally love Venice, it’s different from Barcelona, it’s beautiful but we couldn’t find the magic or the authenticity.

Is renowned for its enchanting waterways, historic architecture, and artistic treasures. It offers a wedding experience that will be incredible for sure.

But its space is limited, it’s like an incredibly big city with a huge amount of tourists in a little space. In our opinion that’s not desirable…

But imagine saying your vows on a gondola as it glides along the serene canals, with the backdrop of centuries-old palazzos and the soft melodies of a serenading gondolier…

Venice’s unique and romantic atmosphere is a testament to the beauty of love itself.

Dubrovnik

In the third position we have Dubrovnik in Croatia.

Dubrovnik, often referred to as the “Pearl of the Adriatic,” is a place where history, culture, and natural beauty converge.

This ancient coastal city, with its well-preserved medieval walls and charming Old Town, offers a unique and historical backdrop for your wedding celebration.

Imagine exchanging your vows against the backdrop of the stunning Adriatic Sea, with the orange-tiled rooftops and historic architecture of Dubrovnik surrounding you.

The city’s enchanting atmosphere is sure to add a touch of magic to your special day.

Beld

In the forth position we have Beld in Slovenia.

Slovenia may be the perfect place for your wedding.

It’s untouched landscapes, from lush forests to breathtaking mountains and crystal-clear lakes, offer a wealth of opportunities for stunning wedding photos and outdoor activities.

Imagine exchanging your vows surrounded by the tranquility of nature, with the Alps as your witnesses.

Lapland

On the fifth place of the most beautiful Europe wedding destinations is Lapland in Sweden.

You want your wedding to be unforgetful and super special.

Do you want to exchange your rings in an unusual place?

Do you prefer the snow rather than the heat of the summer?

Imagine your wedding day, set against a backdrop of endless white landscapes and glittering snow-covered forests. Lapland’s unique blend of enchanting natural beauty and cultural charm creates an atmosphere that’s truly one-of-a-kind.
